I've always spoken very openly and often about how much I love doing hair. Over the past 10 years, I've put everything I have into building a business that I can be proud of and a career I enjoy. I'm going to continue doing hair full time, but I am closing Mane Tease Society Salon. While this was not by any means a quick or easy decision, I'm very much looking forward to new opportunities and I am enthusiastic in this step forward in my career! Scroll down if you'd like to know more about why I've chosen this, or follow the links below for all necessary information regarding future appointments.
Where do I go for appointments now?

What Happened?!
Well...in the end, it's a bit complicated; and you'll have to wait for my tell-all autobiography (coming probably never, my editor is lazy af) for all the details. But here's what I can tell you without writing a novel:

I absolutely love doing hair. If you've been following me awhile, you probably know how it was always my dream job. It would be most honest to say, however,
that hair is a secondary passion for me; human connection and community building are my greatest love.
My career as a hairstylist and salon owner has afforded me so many opportunities to connect with people. My favorite part of my job is hearing the ups and downs of my clients’ lives, building friendships with them, and even helping out with a proposal or two! It’s these parts of being a hairstylist that have kept me in the industry for so long.
Two years ago, Amanda and I decided to open a salon, Mane Tease Society. We faced the ups and downs of coming together as a team head-on and built something beautiful, something I’m incredibly proud of. Despite how proud I am of what we’ve built and how grateful I am for the growth and memories made along the way, the responsibilities of owning a salon have put my true passions on the back burner. I miss having time for my Cut and Coffees, clothing drives, and food truck hangs at the salon. I miss having the energy to invite my clients out to brunch. To be frank, if I'm not able to make time for relationship and community building, I miss out on the aspects that take hair from being a job to being a vocation.
The universe has a way of pushing you in the direction you’re meant to go, and it’s not always where you expect. This year has already presented major changes for my life, and more incredible opportunities are presenting themselves in the coming months. The path ahead, unfortunately, does not hold space for salon ownership.
I will still be doing hair!!!

I am officially back at my old stomping grounds at 2613 Weisenberger. I’m so excited to share a suite with my friend Whitney and pull my focus back to community engagement and working more closely with my clients! This next phase in my career feels 100% right and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
If you have an upcoming appointment, you’re still locked in! Information will be sent to you today so you know where to go. In the coming days, I’ll also be posting new hours, location info, and everything else you’ll need to stay in the loop about my business.
I want to close this long post by saying thank you to my clients. A lot of yall have been here for 5+ years. You’ve seen so much of my growth, and you’ve encouraged me and supported my business every step of the way. I cannot express enough gratitude for your trust, loyalty, and friendship. I’m looking forward to continuing to nurture our relationships in the salon and in our community in the year to come.
TLDR: I’m closing the salon, but I’m still doing hair! Find me at Salon and Spa Galleria 2613 Weisenberger St. Fort Worth, Tx

What to expect...
If you've been with me since 2022/early 2023, or earlier, then you have a good idea of what to expect. We're back at a salon you've been to before, in a private room. I know how much you all enjoyed the comfortability of spending our appointments in a suite, and the privacy that comes with it. I have, too!

If your first appointment was at Mane Tease, then let me introduce you to the suite life (minus Zack and Cody)! When you visit me at my new digs, you'll enjoy a more intimate setting. We have a whole room to ourselves, with snacks, drinks, tv, and music. It's just the two of us, so you have a lot more control-let's binge your current favorite show, blast your playlist, and talk about whatever you want to talk about! When you arrive, I'll meet you in the front lobby to guide you to my suite.
Thank You Again
Some of you have been with me nearly 10 years, some 5, others just 1. When I started doing hair, I never expected to build the tribe I have today. We've laughed together, cried together, celebrated and ruminated. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your business; thank you even more for the relationships we've built. Your presence is a gift.
