Hey there! Thank you for your appointment booking. I am SO excited to meet you! Seeing a new stylist at a new salon can be intimidating, especially if you're not sure what to expect. We're going to get to know each other more during your appointment, but for now, here's some information to get you prepped for your first visit.

I'm Elsa, your stylist and the owner of Splash of Red Hair Studio. I’m the girl you call after your home color job goes awry, or when you want to be blonde but you don’t want a high maintenance salon schedule. I've been a stylist for six years, and I love creating whole new looks for my clients, and my goal is always to make you feel and look your best!

What to expect...
Before your appointment
You'll receive a text/email reminder 72 hours before your appointment. Please confirm your appointment in this message. A consultation form will also be sent to you; please fill out this brief form to help me prepare for your appointment.
A second reminder will be sent 24 hours prior to your appointment. This is just a courtesy reminder; no action is needed unless you need to cancel or reschedule.

When you arrive
I recommend arriving 5 minutes early to make parking a breeze! Please note that late arrivals may be asked to reschedule their appointment. When you enter the salon, head down the hallway to your right and follow it until you see suite 158-that's me!
When you come in, get comfy! If you would like a beverage, the WiFi password, or a phone charger, please let me know. We'll review your consultation form, discuss clear pricing and our goals for the session, and get started. (PS-avoid wearing clothing that's bulky around the neck, or clothing that you REALLY love, to your color appointment. We don't want to ruin a cute outfit!)

At the end of your appointment, we will discuss maintenance visits and home care. If you'd like to pre-book your next appointment, now is the perfect time to do so!
Maintenance Tips
You look stunning! I'll give you specific home maintenance instructions, but for now here are some general tips:

Washing every 2-3 days will maximize the longevity of your new look.

Use Olaplex shampoo and conditioner at home. Over the counter products can strip color or gloss, causing your beautiful color to fade prematurely.

Always use a heat protectant, even just to blowdry!

Hair Cut: 6-8 Weeks
Root Retouch: 4-6 Weeks
Highlights: 6-8 Weeks
Balayage: 8-12 Weeks
Policies
Running Late
Please notify me as soon as possible if you think you might be running late so I can do my best to accommodate you. Guests who are running late may not be able to receive the full scheduled service, or may be asked to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding!​
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Life happens! In order to provide the best possible scheduling options for all guests, 24 hours advance notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Canceling or rescheduling an appointment with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the service price. In the event that a scheduled appointment is missed with no notice, a fee of 50% of the service price will also be incurred. Thank you for your understanding!

Adjustments
It is my ultimate goal to offer you the highest level of satisfaction with your service. If you are having challenges with your cut or color, please notify me within 3 days of your visit so I can make adjustments as soon as possible at no cost to you. Please be advised that complimentary adjustments are only available to more closely match the original goal. If you would like something different, it will be charged as a new service.
